Today was a day that started out with new hopes. I woke up immediately at 7 and prepared to begin my day of great tidings. I quickly got prepared for the day by ironing my clothes to look spiffy for a tour at the Welcome Center. Although it did not take place, I still looked nice in a button up! But that is a different tale that I won’t share to you. Most importantly is that I left there and immediately went to the store. Strangely, I entered in there with no purpose in my mind. When I reached the children’s books section (I actually picked up one new adult book called the Thirteenth Tale but thought against buying it), I saw the book that I had been looking for, Artemis Fowl: The Lost Colony, the newest book in my favorite book series. So I picked this single copy up and went to buy it. I then left there and continued with my normal day. I like summing it up verse prose!
Afternoon
1.Go to commons and volunteer for Cancer Awareness Team. Tell people that a sticker will save a life, prevent the collapse of civilization, and aid in the discovery of diseases. Ran through two rolls of hundreds of stickers.
2. Went to Life Science class and wanted to reprimand three students who were as I quote “too grown to be quiet during a lecture.” They did not realize that I am sitting in the front of the room and they are nearly in the back and I could hear their entire conversation up front. The professor today sat back there with them because several students complained. I thought people acted more polite as they got older but I guess not.
3. Went to Shafer to join the Tabling part of Sierra Club.
4. Went to Philosophy Class, had a good laugh and I think I finally have my beliefs in Abortion set. I am thinking I believe that the fetus has all the rights as a fully developed person because if a fetus doesn’t then it is not a person, and it is strange to think that people carry “not persons” in them.
